What is the Voice Alert feature in Dashcam?
ROVE’s R2-4K comes with a voice alert feature that lets you know if any elements in the dashcam got activated while away from your vehicle. The next time you restart your car engine, it alerts you with a voice message. This excellent feature eliminates the need to check the camera manually for updates after returning to the vehicle – everything goes automatic.
For example, suppose the parking mode of the dashcam got activated while you parked your car. In that case, the camera will automatically alert you with a voice message – stating, "the parking mode got activated while you were away." So you can go back and check to see what happened.
Another one is if the standard loop recording feature of the 1-min video got activated due to any impact reaching the set G-sensor level. The camera will alert you that the Emergency Locked Folder saved footage, which you should check.
In the event of a mishap, this voice guidance feature in a dashcam is the first one to let you know about it if you were not present at the moment. This voice guidance's immediate alerting ultimately speeds up insurance claims, making life much more accessible and hassle-free for you.
Note that enjoying the benefits of the voice guidance feature in R2-4K, you will require installing the ROVE Ultimate 3-lead hardware kit separately.
